About the role
Role Overview
Join a small, highly technical team building next-generation generative video technologies. The work is focused on models used in production video/image pipelines, not just research experiments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve state-of-the-art video and image generation systems
- Evaluate, fine-tune, and adapt open-source diffusion and other generative models
- Design, train, and improve video upscaling, enhancement, and restoration models
- Build and optimize large-scale training pipelines
- Train on large video/image datasets in distributed training environments
- Partner with product, engineering, and creative stakeholders to bring research into production
Requirements
- Strong Python and PyTorch experience
- Experience with diffusion models and/or generative AI, computer vision, or video ML
- Background training and deploying production ML systems
- Experience with distributed training (e.g., FSDP, DeepSpeed, DDP)
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern ML infrastructure
- Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to move quickly from idea to production
Nice to Have
- Experience with video generation, video enhancement, or image restoration
- Experience in media, gaming, VFX, or creative tooling
- Background in multimodal AI, rendering/graphics, or synthetic data
