Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Role overview

You will be a Senior Machine Learning Engineer working on risk management initiatives at AuditBoard. The role focuses on building advanced AI/ML solutions for the AuditBoard product portfolio, including work with Large Language Models (LLMs).

Key missions

• Design, develop, and implement advanced AI/ML solutions to improve AuditBoard’s product portfolio.
• Collaborate with designers and product owners to deliver high-performing product features, applying both classical ML and LLM-based approaches.
• Participate in an Agile software development lifecycle by writing clean, maintainable, testable code and resolving software bugs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related.
• 4+ years hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Familiarity with search / information retrieval and ranking systems.
• Ability to write scalable, production-quality code.
• Analytical mindset focused on metrics and evaluation.
• Proficiency in classical machine learning; familiarity with newer techniques like LLMs.
• Excellent programming skills in Python (or Java / similar).
• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Keras, MXNet, or scikit-learn.
• Experience working with SaaS web applications.
• Experience with Node.js and modern ES6/TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of distributed systems.
• Motivation to learn continuously.

Bonus / nice-to-haves

• Docker and Kubernetes.
• AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure experience.
