Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Join Anduril's Counter Intrusion team as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire machine learning stack, including designing and training multi-sensor object detection models, developing learning algorithms for autonomous systems, and maintaining core ML pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical mentorship to junior ML engineers. Key missions: Conception, design, and implementation of multi-sensor object detection models for edge computing devices.. Development and maintenance of core machine learning pipelines, including data collection and training infrastructure.. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of machine learning solutions into existing systems. Profile: - MS or PhD in Machine Learning, Robotics or Computer Science, with emphasis on Computer Vision - Ability to conduct experiments, ablation studies and create highly detailed reports - BS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, or related field - 6+ years of experience developing, benchmarking and optimizing ML algorithms on large-scale datasets - Optimize on-device inference and vision kernels across CPU/GPU/NPU - Track record of developing and deploying CV models from R&D to production - Proficiency in C++ development in a Linux environment - Experience writing and maintaining automated continuous integration tests - Knowledge of system profiling and tuning for latency, memory and power efficiency - Strong Deep Learning and CV background - Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance - Experience deploying models with TensorRT and ONNX - Experience with Python development and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX and TensorFlow - Experience in one or more of the following: - Object Detection, Object Tracking, Instance Segmentation, Semantic Segmentation, Semantic Change Detection, Depth Estimation, Model Pruning and Compression - Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems - Visual Odometry, SLAM, Multi-view Geometry, Camera Models, RGB-D and LIDAR Sensor Fusion, Optical Flow - 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role
