Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI Governance)

Role Overview

Join AuditBoard as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI Governance) to build advanced AI/ML solutions that strengthen risk management and governance in the AuditBoard product suite. You will work with large language models (LLMs) and collaborate with product and design teams in a customer-focused, innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of advanced AI and machine learning solutions with emphasis on reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver high-performing product features.
• Apply a range of techniques, from classical ML to LLM-based approaches.
• Participate in the Agile software development lifecycle by writing clean, maintainable, testable code.
• Help resolve software bugs and improve overall system quality.

Requirements

• Analytical mindset with a focus on metrics and model evaluation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Familiarity with search / information retrieval and ranking systems.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, Keras, MXNet, or scikit-learn.
• Strong programming skills in Python (or Java / similar).
• Ability to write scalable, production-quality code.
• 4+ years hands-on experience developing and deploying ML models.
• Proficiency in classical machine learning and familiarity with LLMs.
• Experience with Node.js and modern ES6 or TypeScript.
• Experience building SaaS web applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Docker and Kubernetes.
• AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of distributed systems.
