About the role

Role Overview

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Accompany Health, you will help transform healthcare through AI by building mission-critical products and enabling an end-to-end experience across fragmented care services.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead AI initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data for model development and evaluation
  • Design and implement scalable ML infrastructure and solutions with reliability and strong performance
  • Establish data engineering best practices and standards to improve data accessibility

Data Strategy & Architecture

  • Create and maintain an AI pipeline architecture with high observability and robust operational characteristics
  • Champion responsible AI by implementing and reviewing models to maximize data value while ensuring fairness and equity
  • Assemble large, complex datasets aligned with functional and strategic requirements

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Partner with Executive, Product, Clinical, Data, and Design teams
  • Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Build tools that help analysts and data scientists build and optimize product capabilities

Quality & Innovation

  • Develop efficient and reliable AI pipelines with monitoring and observability
  • Navigate and optimize the data ecosystem to generate meaningful insights
  • Implement evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to rigorously assess model performance, accuracy, and reliability

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, focused on production-grade ML systems, backend infrastructure, and/or MLOps
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to create efficient, maintainable ML code
