About the role

Role Overview

Senior Legal Counsel to support a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. The role provides business-aligned guidance across governance, compliance, and operational risk management, partnering with leaders and cross-functional teams to translate complex legal issues into practical recommendations.

Location: Remote (US-based candidates only). No visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on business operations, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and internal policies
  • Identify legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate exposure
  • Manage external counsel for complex matters to achieve cost-effective outcomes
  • Monitor legal/regulatory changes and advise on required business adjustments
  • Develop and deliver legal training on compliance requirements and related topics
  • Support litigation and dispute resolution with legal research and documentation

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Bar admission in good standing in at least one relevant jurisdiction
  • 8–10+ years post-qualification experience as a practicing attorney (preferably in a multinational corporation)
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial law, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance
  • Understanding of international business law and cross-border transactions
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

Compensation & Benefits

  • $130,000 – $180,000 annually
