Senior Lead Creative Technologist

Role Overview

As a Senior Lead Creative Technologist at Kyndryl, you will bridge design vision and engineering execution to prototype and implement innovative, human-centered solutions. You will lead design initiatives across complex projects, acting as both a hands-on expert and a team leader.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end creative technology design processes, from early discovery to user testing and delivery
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies and set prototyping standards
• Prototype solutions quickly, from visual simulations to interactive prototypes
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders on technologies such as agentic AI, IoT, or AR
• Mentor teams across design and engineering, fostering a culture of experimentation and collaboration
• Partner with delivery leads to align creative technology workstreams with timelines and goals
• Provide guidance on implementation decisions so the final product matches the intended user experience

Required Qualifications

• Strong human-centered design expertise at a strategic level; ability to guide teams and ensure resonance emotionally and functionally
• Proven cross-disciplinary collaboration; ability to communicate effectively with design, engineering, business, and client technical teams
• Demonstrated innovation through a portfolio of projects introducing new technology or novel interactions
• Rapid prototyping skills, including setting up team environments (libraries/frameworks/processes) to speed prototyping cycles
• Ability to design human-in-the-loop interaction patterns (approvals, escalation, rollbacks, exception handling)
• Deep skills in feasibility analysis and risk assessment (time, resources, required skill sets; scalability/performance/integration risks)
• Ability to craft compelling storytelling for presentations and narratives

• Regular prototyping with experimental tech to evaluate potential
