Role overview
Senior Java Developer working on enterprise-grade web applications that support critical government systems. You’ll join an agile team delivering end-to-end solutions across the full SDLC, collaborating with architects, business stakeholders, and engineers to meet federal standards for scalability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Participate in agile delivery across design, development, testing, and deployment
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable Java enterprise applications using best practices and enterprise frameworks
- Build and maintain RESTful web services and integrate backend systems
- Translate requirements into technical solutions with architects and stakeholders
- Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps-driven delivery
- Maintain technical documentation and support continuous improvement of SDLC processes
Requirements
- 7+ years of enterprise software development with Java/J2EE
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful web services
- Experience with JSP/Servlets or JavaServer Faces (JSF)
- Solid knowledge of Linux (Red Hat preferred)
- Experience with SQL, data modeling, and ORM (e.g., Hibernate or JPA)
- Hands-on experience in Agile development environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and automated deployment workflows
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

Compensation & benefits
- Salary range: $111,155 – $150,385 (based on experience and location)
