(Senior) IT Product Owner – Data Platform

You will work with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, develop solution concepts, and guide the end-to-end requirement process—from problem definition to writing User Stories.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate internal and external requirements into technical solution concepts
• Prioritize demands based on urgency and business value
• Advise stakeholders throughout the requirement lifecycle
• Coordinate and lead agile DevOps teams to ensure efficient, goal-oriented delivery
• Own delivery success regarding scope, effort, timeline, and quality
• Initiate and implement measures when needed in close alignment with the team and stakeholders
• Actively drive continuous optimization and digitization of the IT landscape and underlying business processes

Requirements

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, IT project manager, or comparable role
• Ideally a completed degree in Business Informatics (or similar)
• Strong knowledge of data models, ETL processes, and analysis/processing of large data volumes in cloud environments (AWS)
• Solid experience with Agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban
• Proficiency with tools like Jira and Confluence
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking with technical understanding of data flows and interfaces
• Ideally SQL and/or Python knowledge
• Excellent communication skills; can convey complex topics clearly in a target-group appropriate way (German and English, negotiation-level)
• High initiative, self-organization, and structured working style

• Based in Düsseldorf and Remote (includes remote work within Germany)
