Role Overview
Hands-on Senior iOS Software Engineer (Architect-level consultant possible) focused on deep technical ownership—beyond feature delivery—using strong architectural thinking and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex iOS systems end-to-end
- Own challenging engineering problems from design through production delivery
- Explain technical decisions, trade-offs, and architecture choices clearly
- Work effectively across both architecture and implementation depth
Requirements
- 12+ years total mobile / iOS development experience
- Strong hands-on coding in Swift
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end in production systems
- Experience with large-scale/complex codebases
- Proficiency with UIKit and production experience with SwiftUI
- Experience designing scalable architectures for large apps
- Solid understanding of:
- App lifecycle
- View rendering
- Auto Layout
- Accessibility
- Localization
- Ownership mindset and confidence in technical discussions
Nice-to-haves
- Architect-level consulting capability (remote accepted at Architect level)
