Senior iOS Engineer

Role overview

Join Veriff as a Senior iOS Engineer to build and evolve a reliable, secure, high-performing iOS SDK. You’ll work on performance and compatibility challenges while helping set the technical direction for the iOS SDK.

Key missions

• Design, develop, and maintain the iOS SDK using Swift, with a focus on performance, security, and usability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to solve performance and compatibility issues.
• Improve testing strategies, participate in code reviews, and mentor other engineers to ensure high-quality code.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable, testable codebases and APIs.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile apps.
• Proven track record as a Senior iOS Engineer, delivering high-quality iOS applications or SDKs.
• Experience with testing frameworks and automation tools, including unit, integration, performance testing, and Fastlane.
• Strong expertise in Swift and iOS frameworks (e.g., Cocoa Touch, UIKit).
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to drive complex initiatives.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience developing and maintaining iOS SDKs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Exposure to other platforms (e.g., Android or cross-platform frameworks).
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices.
