About the role
Role Overview
PerfectServe is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to help advance its clinical communication and physician scheduling platform. You’ll be expected to think critically about architecture, drive improvements to engineering practices, and take ownership of the platform areas you work on.
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical leader and team multiplier.
- Propose improvements to architecture, tooling, and release processes.
- Set and advocate for standards and best practices.
- Identify and proactively address architectural risks, technical debt, and potential vendor concerns.
- Translate user requirements into clear technical requirements for the team.
- Create and review PRs with thoughtful, constructive feedback.
- Mentor peers and junior engineers through code reviews and broader technical guidance.
- Diagnose and fix issues from live products in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA to define release scope.
- Create unit and automated tests; support integrations and improvements to CI/CD.
- Monitor release health using logs, metrics, automated alerts, and customer feedback (regressions, instability, performance).
Requirements
- Senior-level ownership of iOS engineering work (architecture, release strategy, mentorship).
- Strong ability to research, diagnose, and resolve production issues.
- Experience collaborating across product, engineering, and QA teams.
- Familiarity with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
