About the role

Role overview

Join Fabulous as a Senior iOS Engineer working on a Health and Fitness app. You will collaborate with senior iOS developers, the CTO, an award-winning designer, and researchers to deliver features from design to production in a flexible fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

Participate in all stages of feature development: from design to production
Produce high-quality, modular, and testable code
Implement shared business logic with the Android application
Build and improve user interfaces based on mock-ups
Collaborate with senior iOS developers and stakeholders to improve processes and standards

Requirements

Strong teamwork: ability to give and accept feedback
Experience with multithreaded programming
Proven experience developing, releasing, and maintaining native iOS apps
5+ years of programming experience in Objective-C or Swift
Ability to design clean, maintainable APIs
Experience writing unit tests and developing testable code
Experience with SwiftUI and modern Swift API design and concurrency patterns (Combine, async/await, Actors)
Have shipped live production apps on the App Store
Hands-on familiarity with Java and Android
Familiarity with Google Firebase

Nice-to-haves

Willingness to learn Java if not already experienced
Deep understanding of cross-platform/shared logic patterns
