About the role

Role Overview

You will be a hands-on Senior iOS Engineer on ARQ’s Core Product Team, building and scaling the ARQ experience from the flagship iOS app to new product lines (e.g., Premium, Credit).

Responsibilities

Build and ship fast, intuitive, delightful iOS features and experiences
Write clean, maintainable, high-performance Swift code using modern iOS frameworks
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver features end-to-end
Contribute to the iOS app’s architecture and evolution as it scales
Own features from concept through launch, ensuring quality, polish, and reliability
Participate in code reviews and help raise engineering standards and best practices
Continuously improve app performance, stability, and user experience

Requirements

5+ years of professional iOS development experience at scale (apps used by thousands/millions)
Strong proficiency in Swift and the iOS ecosystem
Experience with UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine (and related modern iOS tooling)
Solid understanding of architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture
Strong testing practices and product-quality mindset
Attention to detail and passion for UI/UX
Experience in fast-paced environments, ideally fintech or consumer tech startups

Background building iOS apps in fintech or consumer tech startups
