Senior iOS Developer

Role Overview

Join Finom as a Senior iOS Developer embedded in a cross-functional domain team. You will own end-to-end development of impactful features for Finom’s iOS application and collaborate with other teams to deliver high-quality product outcomes.

Key Missions

• Design and build new iOS features for multi-account cash flow management, banking transactions, and AI-powered accounting automation
• Own code quality, performance, and stability, ensuring automated testing and thorough code reviews
• Drive technical decisions within your domain and proactively identify improvements

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement reliable solutions for the iOS app
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ship features that solve customer needs
• Ensure engineering quality through unit/UI testing, performance optimization, and secure implementation

Requirements

• Swift with UIKit; strong knowledge of Swift language
• At least 3 years of commercial iOS development
• Ability to write unit and UI tests
• Strong OOP, SOLID, and design patterns knowledge
• Practical experience with VIPER architecture and Coordinator navigation pattern
• Layout development in code, especially with SnapKit (or similar)
• Git/GitLab proficiency, including setting up and using GitLab CI/CD
• Fintech / financial products experience or strong familiarity
• Solid mobile security best practices (critical for the domain)
• Experience profiling and optimizing UI performance to achieve smooth 60/120fps
• Hands-on with performance tooling such as Instruments and XCTest
• Published App Store apps you’re proud of; active GitHub profile

Nice-to-haves / Bonus

• Hands-on experience with AI agents and LLM tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Copilot)
• Experience integrating AI into daily development workflows (agent mode, rules, prompt/skill setup)
• Ability to evaluate/verify AI outputs using tests and critical review
• Awareness of AI security risks (prompt injection, data leakage, safe handling of untrusted inputs)
• Interest in or experience with SwiftUI (strong desire to develop skills if not yet)
