Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer | Remote

Role Overview

As a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer, you will architect and secure multi-cloud infrastructure and build automated security controls that reduce vulnerabilities and improve incident response.

Responsibilities

• Architect and secure infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Build automated guardrails and self-healing systems to reduce vulnerabilities
• Design and implement Zero Trust architectures, including identity and policy as code
• Develop and maintain Detection-as-Code pipelines with scalable deployment practices
• Apply AI-driven approaches to threat modeling, anomaly detection, and incident response
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into development workflows
• Continuously improve security posture through research, testing, and system enhancements

Requirements

• Strong experience securing distributed, multi-cloud environments
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD security integration
• Strong understanding of identity systems, least privilege, and Zero Trust
• Familiarity with detection systems and monitoring tools
• Systems mindset focused on automation and scalable security
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment

Compensation & Logistics

• Remote role (10–40 hours/week)
• $250K–$350K per year
