Senior InfoSec Engineer (SecDevOps) - (REMOTE)

Role Overview

The Senior InfoSec Engineer (SecDevOps) is a security subject matter expert bridging development, operations, and security. You will help implement and maintain secure DevOps practices, assess cybersecurity risk against established frameworks and policies, and recommend/advocate for security controls across business and technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for safe, fast code releases.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and security testing on applications and infrastructure prior to production deployment.
• Automate security processes to reduce human error and improve incident response times.
• Maintain security documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Stay current on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and ensure systems/data are protected.
• Provide security awareness training and advocate security best practices across the organization.
• Participate in development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.
• Review and document security gaps, escalate issues to senior risk leadership when appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years experience in a DevOps role with a strong security focus, or in a cybersecurity role with exposure to DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms and native security tools (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of compliance standards and security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).

Nice-to-Haves

• IT security certifications desired (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CKS, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar).

Work Setup

• Permanently remote (work from home) in India.
• Must work 3pm–11pm IST.
• May require occasional domestic or international travel.
