Senior HR Specialist - Recruiting & Onboarding (m/f/d) in Berlin or Konstanz

Role overview

As a Senior HR Specialist – Recruiting & Onboarding (m/f/d) at KNIME AG, you will own the end-to-end recruitment cycle and deliver an exceptional onboarding experience for new team members. You will work closely with hiring managers to optimize candidate pipelines using modern HR technology, ATS platforms, and AI-driven tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to assess talent needs and manage the full end-to-end recruitment process
• Screen resumes, run initial phone screens, and conduct behavioral interviews to evaluate technical baseline and cultural fit
• Coordinate and schedule interviews; build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners
• Drive a diverse and inclusive recruitment strategy and support recruitment marketing/job ad promotion across relevant channels
• Maintain accurate ATS records, analyze candidate funnels, and prepare hiring reports to guide decisions
• Manage pre-boarding and onboarding operations to ensure smooth integration for new joiners
• Test, evaluate, and roll out AI tools to streamline sourcing, screening, and HR processes

Requirements

• Proven experience sourcing and hiring across both US and German tech/software markets, including cultural/operational nuances
• Hands-on experience with ATS tools (e.g., Personio or Ashby) and strong digital/HR tech skills
• Excellent communication and listening skills with a candidate- and hiring-manager-centric approach
• Strong organizational skills, agility, and a pragmatic team mindset
• Practical interest or experience using AI tools to improve sourcing, candidate engagement, and onboarding
• High standards of confidentiality and data integrity
• Fluency in German and English
