Senior GTM Engineering Manager

Role overview

Join AlphaSense as a Senior GTM Engineering Manager to lead and grow the GTM Engineering function within Revenue Technology. This is a player/coach role: you will set the technical direction for automation and AI in revenue execution, build the team that partners with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, and stay hands-on in coding and workflow delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical direction, operating model, and engineering standards for GTM Engineering.
• Recruit, develop, and retain GTM engineers as the function grows.
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure quality, scalability, and delivery.
• Stay hands-on: actively build, code, and resolve problems.
• Identify and deliver opportunities for automation and AI in revenue operations.
• Build durable automation patterns using AI agents, integration platforms, and Salesforce native tools.

Requirements

• People leadership experience (formal management or proven mentoring/coach capability) and readiness to own and scale a team.
• Strong delivery bias: ship iteratively, instrument outputs, and discontinue what doesn’t work.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and take ownership.
• Strong discovery instincts: translate revenue leaders’ needs into well-scoped work that moves a metric.
• 7+ years in revenue operations, Salesforce development, or technical GTM roles.
• Fluent with:
  • Automation & integration platforms (e.g., Zapier, Workato, BlinkOps)
  • Scripting (Python or JavaScript)
  • AI agent/LLM tooling for live workflow automation (including agentic development tools such as Claude Code)
• Proven experience building automation/AI into real revenue workflows (e.g., routing, enrichment, Q2C, forecasting hygiene, outreach) with measurable impact.
• Credibility across functions: can hold a technical line with Engineering and translate it to business terms for GTM leaders.
• Deep Salesforce expertise (declarative + code): Flows, Apex, APIs, and a track record of durable solutions that hold under load.
