Senior Graphic Web Designer

Role Overview

Senior Graphic & Web Designer with expertise across digital and print media. You’ll translate wireframes, written/verbal direction, and UX/UI strategy inputs into high-quality visual solutions while partnering across software, marketing, research, and editorial teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage design projects end-to-end (concept to completion), balancing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, design systems, and style standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve and maintain the Best Lawyers website and other digital products.
• Create responsive web designs, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Lead UX/UI initiatives: user flows, site architecture, accessibility, usability improvements, and responsive design best practices.
• Conduct UX reviews and incorporate feedback from users, analytics, and testing insights.
• Translate designs into development-ready specifications and polished deliverables.
• Produce editorial layouts and branded assets across web, print, marketing collateral, infographics, and social campaigns.
• Prepare final production-ready files for both print and digital publications.
• Organize workflows, digital assets, and project documentation within a proprietary CMS.
• Serve as design project lead: manage timelines, milestones, approvals, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate with external partners (vendors, freelancers, agencies, photographers, illustrators) to deliver on time and on budget.
• Review and provide feedback on external work to ensure consistency and quality.
• Facilitate kickoffs, creative briefs, and stakeholder review meetings.
• Provide guidance/design support to junior creative team members when needed.
• Maintain proactive communication in a fully remote work environment.

Required Skills

• Expert proficiency in Figma.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Working knowledge of CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, video production, and AI experimentation.
• Strong UX/UI foundation: information architecture, accessibility, responsive design, user-centered design.
• Ability to create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design systems.
• Project management experience using tools such as Asana and Azure Dev.

Nice-to-Haves

• Demonstrated UX reviews and the use of analytics/testing insights to drive design recommendations.
• Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders and external creative partners to deliver on time and within budget.
