Senior Golang Engineer

Role Overview

Senior Software Engineer I (Senior) responsible for building and evolving Store, Menu Serving, and Menu Management platforms. You will contribute to architecture and implementation while partnering with Product, Design, and front-end teams to deliver new menu management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable GraphQL services in Go
• Deliver and maintain unit and integration tests
• Refactor and improve existing systems for performance, readability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on planning, scoping, backlog grooming, and technical solution ownership
• Provide timely code reviews and technical guidance/mentorship to peers
• Participate in Agile team ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to remove blockers

Requirements

• 3–5 years of software engineering experience
• GraphQL and/or REST API development
• Go (Golang)
• PostgreSQL (or similar relational databases)
• Containerized services with Docker
• Experience with distributed workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Temporal or Cadence)
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Information Systems or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Node.js and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) or mobile (iOS/Android)
• Experience with AWS S3
