About the role

Role Overview

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer on a mission-driven team building and scaling web platforms for a cancer-screening experience. You will architect, build, and deliver end-to-end features while mentoring engineers and driving best practices across the stack.

Responsibilities

Architect, build, and scale web platforms that power cancer-screening experiences
Mentor engineers and promote strong engineering practices and collaboration
Ensure seamless integration between a .NET backend and a modern Vue frontend
Lead design and delivery of end-to-end features with emphasis on high-performance ASP.NET Core services
Partner in a cross-functional Agile environment to drive delivery and quality

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams
Deep experience with SQL Server
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
Experience designing microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems (including data models and domain boundaries)
Proven full-stack production ownership across frontend and backend
Track record of mentoring, leading projects, and influencing engineering strategy
Automated testing experience with xUnit/NUnit/Jest/Playwright and enforcing clean code standards
Experience deploying/operating in the cloud with Azure (or AWS/GCP), using IaC, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), pipelines, and monitoring

Nice to Have

Experience with Python, GCP, and FastAPI
Passion for responsive design, PWAs, and accessibility
Background in security & compliance (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2)
Healthcare standards experience: DICOM, HL7/FHIR or similar
