Role overview

Join Northbeam as a Senior Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript) to design, develop, and deliver high-quality web solutions. You’ll own major product features end-to-end and help set technical direction while working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver fullstack web solutions, owning major features from design to launch
Collaborate with Product Managers and Customer Success to build scalable products and robust software components
Identify and solve complex problems, leading projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers
Set technical direction and contribute to the company’s engineering practices
Build and optimize the Northbeam dashboard and improve web application performance

Requirements

5+ years building frontend and backend systems with TypeScript
3+ years with modern component-based libraries such as React
SQL and BigQuery proficiency
Experience creating API services using REST and GraphQL
Proficiency in Python
Ability to deliver production-ready code with high autonomy
Strong attention to developer ergonomics and comfort with a fast startup pace

Nice to have

Experience building design systems
Data visualization experience
Frontend optimization for large data and fast loading
Background in marketing, e-commerce, or ad-tech
Proven interest/ability to mentor other engineers
