About the role
Role Overview
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer at Scaler, you will design and build end-to-end features for a data-intensive platform used by real estate investment teams. You’ll work closely with product and design, help shape product development, and lead architectural decisions and engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Implement new products and features end to end, across the full stack.
- Lead backend architectural decisions to support growth in data volume and client load.
- Set and reinforce engineering standards across:
- Code reviews
- Testing
- Monitoring
- Observability
- Contribute to technical architecture and code review standards.
Requirements
- 6+ years of fullstack engineering experience shipping production systems.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, applied to real engineering constraints.
- Deep production experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong front-end capability, including CSS.
- Experience with LLM integration in production, including one or more of:
- Prompt engineering
- RAG pipelines
- Function calling
- Evals
- Guardrails
- Experience working with large, complex datasets and presenting them clearly.
- Experience with web metrics, monitoring, and observability tooling.
- Comfortable owning outcomes in a small, fast-moving team.
Nice to Have
- Experience with one or more of:
- FastAPI
- Laravel
