About the role

Role overview

Senior Fullstack Engineer on the Distribution Team at Cloudbeds. You will build and improve products that connect Cloudbeds’ ecosystem to major distribution channels, ensuring scalable performance, security, and seamless integrations.

Responsibilities

Design and implement backend features in PHP, focusing on performance optimization and scalability
Build frontend experiences with React and Vue
Architect secure solutions for handling financial transactions and sensitive personal data
Write clean, well-tested, well-documented code with strong coverage (unit, integration, end-to-end)
Lead technical discussions and drive alignment between technical and non-technical stakeholders on architecture decisions
Contribute to migrating core platform components into microservices
Refactor legacy systems and re-architect them to modern standards
Mentor via pair programming and code reviews
Collaborate cross-functionally to plan, build, and ship high-quality features

Requirements

5+ years of PHP web application engineering
5+ years with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js and React preferred)
Solid experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized development workflows
Strong understanding of performance optimization and relational databases (indexing/search)
Security knowledge for systems handling financial and personal data
Experience with test automation across multiple levels (unit/integration/e2e)

Nice-to-haves

Experience working on microservices migrations and complex OTA/distribution integrations
