About the role
Role Overview
Senior Full Stack Web Developer (EST zone) — remote contract in the United States. You’ll design and build modern, scalable web applications across frontend, backend, and database layers, contributing across the full software development lifecycle from architecture to deployment and optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications focused on performance, reliability, and UX
- Build responsive, interactive frontend interfaces using Angular or React with TypeScript
- Develop secure backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and the Flask framework
- Design, optimize, and maintain relational database structures, queries, and stored procedures
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, QA, and DevOps to deliver effective solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code; participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions
- Mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- 8–10 years hands-on full-stack web application development; 10–15 years overall IT experience
- Strong proficiency with Angular or React using TypeScript
- Advanced backend development with Python and Flask
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs
- Strong relational database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle)
- Solid OOP, software design patterns, and engineering principles
- Experience with Git and modern version control practices
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Nice to Haves
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing frameworks
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Application security best practices and performance optimization experience
Contract & Location
- Remote (United States)
- 6+ month contract engagement
