Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

Role Overview

Torticity is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a small, high-impact team. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where you’ll own complex features and act as a senior technical anchor, collaborating closely with product, design, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Own complex features end-to-end, from shaping the technical approach through delivery and iteration
• Serve as an informal technical lead/facilitator across initiatives while remaining a hands-on individual contributor
• Design and implement robust, scalable systems and workflows underpinning litigation services
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business problems into technical solutions, with clear tradeoffs
• Document system architecture, workflows, and technical decisions for team alignment
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, coding agents) to accelerate planning, development, and debugging
• Refine internal platforms, developer experience (DX), and tooling as the company scales
• Participate in code reviews and help establish engineering standards and best practices

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong full-stack background
• Proven ability to operate autonomously with high accountability and ownership
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration experience (product/design/operations/leadership)
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities and minimal oversight

• Experience acting as a technical anchor/lead while still delivering hands-on work
