Role overview

Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Remote) at Tential Solutions. You will architect and ship production code across the front end and back end, set the engineering bar, and take technical ownership from day one for core products that power loan origination, decisioning, and servicing.

Responsibilities

Design & development: Build and operate full-stack services and user experiences for the Flagship Platform.
End-to-end feature delivery: Ship features across the stack (front end through back end), ensuring performance and test coverage.
Workflow translation for regulated workloads: Implement complex financial/operational workflows in clean, performant, well-tested code suitable for regulatory scrutiny and production load.
API & platform integrations: Lead integrations with:
- Credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion)
- Dealer systems (DealerTrack, RouteOne)
- Fraud/verification and other third-party providers
- Handle contract design, retry/idempotency, and operational runbooks.
DEFI Solutions platform extension: Configure and extend loan origination workflows, scorecards, rules, and decision flows; build REST API integrations with DEFI and services backed by operational data store (MSSQL).
Feature ownership & collaboration: Work with Product, Design, and business stakeholders from problem framing through rollout and post-launch iteration.
Engineering excellence: Drive observability, performance, reliability, and security.
Team practices: Define patterns for testing, observability, security, and CI/CD; run design reviews and onboard engineers.
AI-assisted development: Use AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality.

Requirements

U.S. work authorization.
5+ years of professional software engineering.
Production experience building and operating modern web apps across front end and back end.
Expert in C# / .NET and modern React-based frameworks (Next.js strongly preferred).
Strong PostgreSQL (or comparable relational DB) knowledge, RESTful API design, and SQL Server / T-SQL.
Hands-on AWS experience with containerized workloads (ECS/EKS/Fargate) and Docker.
Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Preferred qualifications

Experience building on DEFI Solutions (or equivalent Loan Origination Systems).
Auto finance/lending or other regulated industry domain experience.
Experience with event-driven architecture and AWS messaging (SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Kafka, or similar).
Experience integrating ML-driven decisioning/scoring/underwriting models into production.
