About the role

Role: Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Build and evolve Seeq’s data analytics platform, owning features end-to-end across frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

Write elegant, extensible, and maintainable code; advocate for unit testing and continuous integration.
Design and deliver complex software systems using sound software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Own features end-to-end across frontend and backend codebases.
Actively participate in code reviews and collaborate (e.g., pair-programming) to improve team velocity.
Triage and fix bugs quickly; maintain strong attention to detail.
Provide leadership by mentoring and guiding junior engineers; take on leadership roles as you grow.

Requirements

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/software engineering (or equivalent experience).
Several years of senior-level professional software development experience, including leading successful development efforts.
Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Expertise building large React applications with TypeScript.
Backend expertise in one or more of: Python or Node.js (JVM language is also acceptable).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Nice-to-haves

Experience with databases, distributed computing, and cloud platforms.
Experience with generative AI-enabled product workflows (aligned with Seeq’s use of generative AI).
