Role: Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

You’ll build and evolve a platform that automates manual enterprise accounting and finance processes, starting on the platform team responsible for shared libraries, common data models, third-party providers, and data ingestion for an asynchronous processing pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with engineering, data science, and product to evaluate requirements, scope work, estimate effort, and prioritize value delivery.
• Web application development: Design, build, and maintain customer-facing and internal-facing web applications.
• Data ingestion at scale: Create reliable, efficient pipelines that process millions of records from diverse sources (e.g., Jira, GitHub, payroll systems, accounting software).
• Data modeling: Design flexible schemas to support different company types, industries, and business processes.
• Integrations: Read API docs and build integrations with third-party systems, handling real-world data quirks.
• Customer-facing features: Ship capabilities that support finance teams’ monthly capitalization workflows.
• Internal tooling: Build operational/debugging tools to help teams run and troubleshoot the system.
• Automated testing & deployment: Maintain processes for robust systems.
• Code review: Provide timely, high-quality feedback to other engineers.
• Incident troubleshooting: Identify root causes and implement durable fixes to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• 7+ years professional experience in full-stack development.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency.
• Strong database skills: ORMs, SQL, and relational databases.
• Strong Node.js and associated frameworks.
• Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous data processing pipelines.
• Proficiency with React (or similar) with one-way data binding paradigms.
• Ability to design and implement solutions independently (including when AI assistance is used).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• BS/MS in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related field.

Bonus / Nice-to-haves

• GraphQL experience.
• Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• DevOps practices/tools such as Terraform.
• Automated testing experience (unit/integration/e2e; mocking, etc.).
• Experience at early-stage, venture-backed startups.

Compensation & Benefits

• $190,000–$210,000 base salary
