Role overview

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (remote-first, US). You will build and scale end-to-end web applications in a technical, mission-driven environment, with full ownership from architecture through deployment.

Responsibilities

Design and build full-stack web applications with React-based frontends and .NET backend services
Architect and maintain backend systems using .NET 9, including APIs, microservices, and domain-driven components
Develop and optimize PostgreSQL models and queries (integrity, security, performance at scale)
Implement asynchronous processing and distributed systems using RabbitMQ and Redis (caching/workload management)
Collaborate on architecture decisions via RFCs (API contracts, data flows, cross-service integration)
Work with product and design teams to translate operational and security requirements into software delivered in iterative releases
Maintain engineering quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement of engineering practices
Use modern AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate delivery while ensuring security and code quality

Requirements

6+ years in full-stack or backend-heavy engineering roles building production distributed systems
Strong C# and .NET expertise (preferably .NET 8/9), including API design and backend architecture
Solid React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling (Vite, Tailwind CSS)
Strong PostgreSQL knowledge (schema design, transactional integrity, performance optimization)
Experience with distributed systems concepts: caching, RabbitMQ, and scalable architecture design
Ability to design and maintain secure, reliable, high-performance cloud-native applications
Strong software engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, and code quality standards
Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in Agile teams and contributing to architectural decisions

Benefits

Base salary $155,000–$215,000 USD plus bonus and equity opportunities
