Role overview

Join Care Access as a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to build and maintain modern software products that streamline operations and support the future of clinical research. You’ll work in a cross-functional team to deliver user-friendly experiences using full-stack TypeScript.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications and backend APIs
Build clean, modern, intuitive UIs based on Figma mockups
Collaborate with product designers to translate designs into working interfaces
Support production systems and ensure efficient, scalable, and secure backend services
Participate in code reviews, mentorship, and pairing with other engineers
Work within Agile development methodologies

Requirements

Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js
6+ years of experience in both front-end and back-end web development
Experience building relational database-backed systems (e.g., PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Ability to work independently in a remote-first team
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

Experience with functional programming techniques
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
