Senior Full Stack Software Developer

Role overview

You’ll work on LivePerson Voice, a born-in-the-cloud, multi-tenant SaaS platform hosted on GCP. The role is focused on building and improving the customer-facing application and APIs, with an emphasis on stability, innovation, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement business software and underlying APIs
• Partner with Product Management to deliver delightful UX
• Build platform-independent code runnable across browsers and OS environments
• Drive key decisions across architecture, coding, testing, and deployment
• Produce engineering specs and delivery estimates based on requirements
• Implement solutions and provide technical documentation
• Collaborate via specs, code reviews, and testing
• Write unit tests and automated end-to-end tests to maximize coverage and quality
• Support team KPIs, including weekly ownership of performance targets
• Communicate with customers and partners to deliver engineering and business value
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives

Requirements

• 8+ years building large-scale production software systems
• 5+ years with TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js
• 3+ years building interactive UI with Angular (and/or Vue as stated)
• 3+ years building RESTful microservices
• 3+ years with Kubernetes (including GKE or similar)
• Git experience
• MongoDB experience
• Experience with data aggregation models across multiple data sources
• Experience with enterprise multi-tenant SaaS platforms
• Experience with GCP (or AWS/Azure)
• Testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Nock
• Experience instrumenting code for production performance metrics
• Agile development methodology experience

Nice to have

• Experience integrating telephony, CRM, or CTI applications
• MEAN stack experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Compensation

• Salary range: $130,000–$160,000 USD (final offer depends on location, skills, experience, education, and certifications)
