About the role

Role Overview

Senior Full Stack Software Developer (fully remote, U.S.-based) supporting a high-volume, mission-critical healthcare application in complex government environments. You will design and build scalable full stack features while ensuring strong operational performance across CI/CD, monitoring, and production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance responsive front-end features using ReactJS and modern JavaScript tooling.
  • Build and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js.
  • Optimize Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and data models for performance and reliability.
  • Participate in architecture/design discussions and translate requirements into robust solutions.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline development, release management, and automated deployments across environments.
  • Provide production support: monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Improve observability, performance tuning, and operational readiness with infrastructure teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally using Agile practices and tools like Jira and Confluence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of progressive software development; senior-level full stack experience.
  • Strong proficiency in ReactJS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong experience building Node.js services and RESTful APIs (ExpressJS preferred).
  • Advanced Microsoft SQL Server skills (query optimization, indexing, performance tuning).
  • Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, release engineering, and deployment automation.
  • Experience with production support, incident response, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps, and secure software development practices.
  • Ability to operate in high-volume transactional/case-management systems.
  • U.S. citizenship required and eligibility to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • Strong communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with Azure, observability tools, and healthcare or government systems.
