Role overview

Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Elixir/React) for a veterinary software company, serving animal hospitals globally.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of software projects from scoping through release
Partner with product teammates to plan work and align on scope and sizing
Design efficient, reliable, and scalable solutions
Build features using Elixir, React, and related technologies
Mentor junior engineers and help define their work
Provide accurate progress updates
Collaborate with engineering and QA to deliver high-quality software on time
Research and resolve complex customer issues
Drive/lead discussions on engineering best practices (design, development, unit testing, etc.)

Requirements

5+ years building modern SaaS applications
Deep backend knowledge in Elixir/Erlang (or another functional language)
Experience with GraphQL
Proficiency with React
Strong relational database experience, including query/data access design and tuning
Based in LATAM and fluent English

Nice to have

Experience taking on large, complex features and debugging ownership
Proven mentoring experience
