About the role

Role Overview

TSR Consulting is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (React/Python) for a remote contract (anticipated start 06/21/2026) with a duration of 6+ months. You will join a growing Data Platform team building an enterprise-wide Data Portal that aggregates, secures, and analyzes data to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
Build user-facing features with React/Next.js and TypeScript.
Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
Design and optimize PostgreSQL database solutions.
Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements.
Integrate applications with enterprise data platforms and services.
Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and problem-solving sessions.
Contribute to the centralized data portal and broader data platform ecosystem.
Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience building modern web applications in cloud environments.
Strong software engineering best practices, design patterns, and application architecture knowledge.
Data engineering experience, including data integration and pipeline development.
Exposure to healthcare technologies such as Epic or HL7.

Nice-to-Haves

Healthcare data/integration experience with Epic/HL7 (called out as exposure).
