About the role

Role Overview

Senior Full Stack Developer on the Imaging team at Function Health. You will architect, build, and scale web platforms powering cancer-screening experiences, ensuring the .NET backend and modern Vue frontend work seamlessly to deliver reliable, secure products.

Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end full-stack solutions, from customer-facing UIs to optimizing database queries and owning interactions across layers
Lead design and delivery of features with an emphasis on high-performance ASP.NET Core services
Architect clean, maintainable, and secure APIs integrating with EMRs, imaging partners, and AI services
Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and design sessions
Collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to translate requirements into experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile
Own quality by defining automated test strategies (unit, integration, e2e) and champion CI/CD and DevOps in Azure
Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, performance tuning, and observability
Contribute to the technical roadmap and planning in an Agile process (stand-ups, retrospectives)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
6+ years building production systems with ASP.NET Core / C#
Full-stack experience with production JavaScript/TypeScript frontends and ASP.NET Core backends
Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems, including data modeling and domain boundaries
Experience deploying/operating workloads in Azure (or AWS/GCP) using IaC, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), pipelines, and monitoring
Deep experience with SQL Server
Automated testing experience with xUnit/NUnit/Jest/Playwright and clean code standards
Proven mentoring/leadership experience influencing engineering strategy
Strong written and verbal communication in cross-functional, Agile environments
