Senior Full Stack Developer

Role overview

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at CoLab Software, you will build integrations and platform capabilities that connect CoLab with customers’ day-to-day systems. You’ll collaborate with Product, Design, Client Success, and Engineering to turn customer challenges into scalable software and user-facing features.

Key missions

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into scalable software solutions.
• Develop, test, and regularly ship user-focused critical features.
• Maintain robust, scalable APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and help the team deliver high-quality software.
• Mentor and guide junior developers.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall technology direction and best practices.
• Support release management and CI/CD workflows.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and E2E).

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on professional development experience.
• Strong teamwork habits with a focus on respect and continuous improvement.
• Experience with Git workflow (pull requests, code reviews).
• Track record building and maintaining highly scalable products.
• Willingness to improve how the team builds and ships.
• Proficiency with version control, release management, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Java and/or C#.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL and DynamoDB) and querying frameworks/APIs.
• Automated testing experience including unit/integration tests with Jest and E2E tests with Cypress or Playwright.
• Front-end build/package/testing tools such as Webpack, NPM, Jest, Cypress (etc.).

Nice to have / assets

• Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with SaaS and large-scale distributed systems.
