About the role

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Software Engineer working on Global Commercial Services’ next-generation expense management platform. You’ll build intuitive, scalable, high-performing web experiences for small-to-medium and corporate business customers.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and deployment of modern web applications using React and TypeScript
Partner with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to shape requirements and user experiences
Build scalable, responsive, and accessible frontend architectures and reusable component libraries
Create data-driven UI experiences, dashboards, and dynamic forms using JSON-schema (or similar approaches)
Integrate with backend engineers via APIs to deliver end-to-end functionality
Mentor engineers and foster collaboration across teams and engineering guilds
Add analytics, instrumentation, and observability to frontend applications
Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability across browsers/devices
Participate in architecture discussions, RFCs, and proof-of-concept initiatives
Establish coding standards, testing practices, and design conventions
Plan, estimate, and deliver milestones while proactively managing risks and removing blockers

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering with strong frontend focus
Experience collaborating with Product Management and UX teams
Strong design sensibility and drive for pixel-perfect UI
Expert proficiency in React and TypeScript
Strong hands-on experience with modern web frontend development

Web: Next.js (App Router, RSC), React 19
Mobile: React Native (Expo), React 19
Monorepo: Turborepo
Data/State: TanStack Query (React Query), Zustand, tRPC
UI/Design system: Tailwind CSS, class-variance-authority, internal component library, Framer Motion, react-reanimated
Observability/Analytics: Datadog RUM/APM, Amplitude, FullStory
Testing: Vitest (unit/integration), familiarity with component/visual/E2E testing
CI/CD: GitHub Actions

Location / Eligibility

Role located in the United States.
