About the role

Role Overview

Effodio is seeking a hands-on Senior Frontend Software Engineer (Remote) to help shape the user experience of its application analytics platform. You will build intuitive, performant interfaces for cloud analytics and infrastructure visualization while collaborating with product, design, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

UI Architecture & Development: Design and build highly interactive frontend features, owning core UI components such as dashboards, data flows, and rich user interfaces.
Hands-on Engineering: Write high-quality, maintainable, tested code using React and TypeScript.
Backend Integration: Integrate with backend services using GraphQL and Apollo Client.
Testing & Quality: Use Playwright, Jest, and React Testing Library to ensure quality and performance.
Visualization & Performance: Build and optimize data visualizations using D3.js, ApexCharts, and React Flow; ensure responsive UI and fast load times.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Translate business goals into product experiences with product and design; mentor junior developers and influence frontend technical decisions.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, roadmap planning, and help evolve design systems/component libraries.

Requirements

7+ years of professional frontend development experience building complex, high-scale web applications.
Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and state management (e.g., Zustand and Context API).
Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client.
Testing experience with Playwright or Cypress.
Component-driven development experience (e.g., Storybook).
Familiarity with Next.js and MUI, plus performance tuning.
Strong understanding of application architecture and frontend-backend interaction patterns; ability to build robust reactive data systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with data visualization tools: React Flow, D3.js, ApexCharts.
Familiarity with analytics, monitoring, or security platforms.
Knowledge of cloud-native apps or microservice architectures.
Understanding of i18n and accessibility best practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Compensation & Work Authorization

Compensation is based on skills/experience and includes salary, stock, and a discretionary bonus.
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.
