About the role

Role Overview

Effodio is seeking a hands-on Senior Frontend Software Engineer to help shape the user experience of its application analytics platform. You’ll build highly interactive, performant frontend features and collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to evolve the platform.

Responsibilities

UI architecture & development: Design and build interactive frontend features for cloud analytics, dashboards, data flows, and rich UI experiences.
Hands-on engineering: Develop maintainable, tested code using React and TypeScript.
Backend integration: Use GraphQL and Apollo Client to integrate with backend services.
Visualization & performance: Create and optimize data-rich visualizations using D3.js, ApexCharts, and React Flow; ensure responsive UI and fast load times.
Cross-functional collaboration: Translate product goals into user experiences and contribute to design systems/component libraries.
Mentorship & continuous improvement: Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions; mentor junior developers and influence frontend technical decisions.

Requirements

7+ years of professional frontend development experience building complex, high-scale web applications.
Strong expertise in React and TypeScript, including state management patterns such as Zustand and/or Context API.
Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Client.
Component-driven development with Storybook.
Testing experience with Playwright or Cypress.
Familiarity with Next.js and MUI, plus performance tuning.
Strong understanding of application architecture, API design, and frontend-backend interaction patterns.

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with analytics/monitoring/security platforms; cloud-native or microservices.
Knowledge of i18n and accessibility best practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Compensation includes salary, stock, and a discretionary bonus (amount not specified).
