About the role

Role Overview

Join Uniswap as a Senior Frontend Infrastructure Engineer. You will own and evolve Uniswap’s shared frontend infrastructure, contribute to product/design engineering, build AI-powered internal tools, lead large-scale migrations, improve release automation, and mentor engineers across teams.

Key Missions

Drive large-scale frontend migrations.
Build internal tools powered by AI.
Own and evolve shared frontend infrastructure, including:
- Design systems
- UI component libraries
- Data-recovery / data fetching layers and related BFF services.
Maintain backend-for-frontend (BFF) services.
Improve release automation and release engineering.
Deliver frontend performance improvements.
Produce high-quality code and mentor engineers via:
- Code reviews
- Documentation
- Establishing best practices

Requirements

Keep up with modern best practices in web and mobile development.
Deep experience with React and React Native, with comfort working across web and mobile from a single codebase.
Strong opinions and practical experience in frontend architecture, styling systems, data-fetching patterns, and build tooling.
Proven track record building developer tooling, design systems, or shared infrastructure with product sensibility.
Experience with AI-assisted development (explore what’s possible, not just use tools).
Ability to own and deliver large, ambiguous end-to-end projects with minimal direction.
5+ years of software engineering experience.
Comfort with automation: CI/CD, release engineering, and testing frameworks.
Active open source contributions, especially in projects like:
- wagmi, viem, Next.js, React Router, TanStack, or similar frontend/tooling ecosystems.
Experience building AI-powered developer tools, CLI tools, or internal automations using LLMs.

Nice to Have

Experience with Swift/Kotlin or native mobile development.
Familiarity with crypto concepts/features (no crypto experience is still welcome).
Experience at companies known for infra/platform/DX roles (e.g., Shopify, Vercel, Replit, Phantom, Coinbase).
Degree in computer science.
