Senior Frontend Engineer with Vue.js

Role overview

Senior Frontend Engineer with Vue.js to help build and evolve Level All’s frontend applications. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to ship features that improve engagement for learners and usability/value for schools and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Pair with teammates, conduct code reviews, and discuss improvements to frontend architecture and processes
• Lead projects and help shape frontend patterns, standards, and reusable components
• Provide feedback on product and design requirements and mentor other engineers
• Improve performance as usage grows; reduce frontend complexity and address technical debt
• Enhance automated testing practices and build scalable user experiences across multiple applications
• Work on a mix of collaborative work and focused deep work

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Vue.js experience in production environments
• Experience building modern frontend applications with Vue 3, TypeScript, and component-based architectures
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing frontend application state
• Strong ability to build responsive, accessible, maintainable user interfaces
• Strong appreciation for automated testing and test culture
• Product mindset and drive to help users succeed
• Collaborative communication and comfort working in a startup environment
• Experience with remote or hybrid teams

• Startup experience and ability to work effectively in hybrid/remote settings

Contract / work model

• Initially structured as 3-month temporary employment with potential extension or longer-term opportunity
