Role overview

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Seek (US Remote), you’ll build user-friendly interfaces for the app store and ML cloud platform. You’ll use React and TypeScript to deliver high-performing, responsive, and accessible experiences while collaborating closely with UX/UI and backend engineers.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain frontend UI for the app store and ML cloud platform using React and TypeScript
Create consistent UI components with styled components aligned to branding guidelines
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and keep data/state synchronized
Optimize frontend performance by reducing load times and bundle sizes
Partner with UX/UI designers to translate mockups into functional interfaces
Participate in code reviews and contribute feedback to improve code quality
Contribute to sprint cycles with estimates, updates, and technical insights

Requirements

5+ years of frontend development experience, with strong React and TypeScript in enterprise production
Proven ability to build scalable, customizable UI with styled components
Strong knowledge of state management and seamless user experience patterns
Familiarity with modern build tooling: RSBuild, ESBuild, Webpack, Babel
Unit testing experience with Jest or Vitest
Proficiency with Git and experience with CI/CD (notably GitLab CI)
Expertise in Recoil and API integration using Axios
Strong troubleshooting and frontend performance optimization skills
Experience working in an Agile environment

Nice to have

Performance techniques: code splitting, lazy loading, memoization
Frontend analytics/tracking integrations (e.g., Amplitude)
Comfort with VS Code, including using Biome for formatting/linting
Accessibility best practices and hands-on implementation
Experience working in remote teams in fast-paced environments

Compensation & benefits

$150,000–$170,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
