Senior Frontend Engineer

Role Overview

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Socure (full remote), you will build high-performance web applications that help users detect and prevent risk. You’ll partner with product managers, designers, and engineers, and you’ll mentor other engineers through code reviews and best-practice sharing.

Key Missions

• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle: architecture & design → implementation → testing → production support
• Build robust UI based on high-fidelity designs and functional specifications
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering stakeholders
• Mentor and coach engineers via knowledge sharing and code reviews

Responsibilities

• Deliver production-ready frontend features with an emphasis on quality and maintainability
• Promote engineering best practices and support continuous improvement

Requirements

• Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization
• Strong knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and security best practices
• Experience working with product designers and cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to write clean, reusable, well-tested, maintainable code
• 5–7 years building modern web applications using TypeScript and React
• Experience with common state/workflow approaches (e.g., Flux/Redux or equivalent)
• Strong UX focus and empathy for end users when designing UI flows
• Excellent communication and demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience with Figma, Framer, or InVision
• Experience with node-based graph libraries (e.g., react-flow, litegraph.js)
• Experience building and scaling design systems or component libraries
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud or AWS
