Role Overview

Join Roofr as a Senior Frontend Engineer to drive frontend architecture and contribute across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). You’ll build and maintain functional web applications, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teammates.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to frontend architecture and the full SDLC.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical requirements.
• Write clean, maintainable code to build web applications and reusable libraries.
• Troubleshoot and improve production frontend applications.
• Maintain high engineering standards through documentation and clear communication.

Requirements

• Strong experience with JavaScript and React + Redux.
• Track record of breaking down complex problems into incremental solutions.
• Takes ownership of product quality and demonstrates excellent communication.
• Experienced with RESTful APIs.
• Experience building frontend testing and automation for:
  • Unit tests
  • Integration tests
  • Regression tests
  • User acceptance tests
• Familiar with SCSS.
• Champion of Agile methodologies; ships code frequently and confidently.
• Understands the trade-offs and prioritization challenges of early-stage companies.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years holding a Senior Engineering title.
