About the role
Role Overview
Senior Frontend Engineer (React/Next.js) for a full-time position in the USA. You will modernize and accelerate the presentation layer for an enterprise-grade SaaS product, building UI components that improve iteration speed and developer velocity.
Responsibilities
- Design and build modern, scalable front-end applications using React and Next.js
- Develop reusable UI components and frameworks to enable rapid feature delivery
- Translate product requirements and design specs into clean, maintainable code
- Integrate UI with backend services via REST APIs and WebSockets/server-side events
- Help evolve front-end architecture and the overall technology stack
- Optimize for performance, responsiveness, and enterprise usability
- Ensure interfaces support clear, predictable workflows, especially for critical-use scenarios
- Collaborate with product managers and technical leads to deliver roadmap priorities
- Ramp quickly by understanding existing legacy React/JavaScript systems and contributing with minimal onboarding
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack development
- Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Experience building enterprise B2B web applications (not consumer/gaming-focused UI)
- Solid understanding of component-based architecture and state management
- Experience integrating with APIs and handling real-time data (WebSockets or similar)
- Ability to build clean, maintainable, scalable front-end systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal direction
- Fast ramp-up and delivery in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Strong knowledge of Next.js and TypeScript
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS (or modern styling frameworks)
- Full-stack experience (e.g., Node.js, APIs, data models)
- Experience with data-heavy interfaces and/or visualization layers
- Understanding of complex operational workflows/UX for enterprise systems
- Familiarity with enterprise UX principles (clarity, predictability, efficiency over aesthetics)
