About the role

Role Overview

Senior Frontend Engineer on the Messaging Channels team at Postscript. You’ll build and ship user-facing experiences that power a multi-channel messaging platform used by ecommerce brands to reach customers via SMS, email, and emerging channels.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain frontend experiences for Postscript’s multi-channel messaging platform using React and TypeScript
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to plan and execute work
Drive frontend architecture decisions and establish scalable patterns across the team
Write well-tested, accessible, and performant code meeting high quality standards
Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
Contribute to frontend tooling, component libraries, and shared infrastructure
Participate in technical planning and estimation to scope and sequence work effectively
Recruit and evaluate engineering candidates to support company growth

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience building web applications with React and TypeScript
Strong understanding of modern frontend patterns (state management, component architecture, hooks, rendering optimization)
Experience building complex, interactive UIs (beyond CRUD): e.g., workflows, editors, data-heavy dashboards
Strong UX focus and passion for frontend craft and code quality
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment
Frontend testing experience: unit, integration, and e2e
Clear communication and strong cross-functional collaboration
Early-stage/high-growth SaaS experience

Nice-to-haves

Experience leading or contributing to shared frontend infrastructure (component libraries/design systems/build tooling)
Experience in martech SaaS or ecommerce

Location & Work Style

Fully remote and based in the US or Canada

Compensation

USD $172,000–$203,000 base, plus significant equity (regardless of location)
