Senior Frontend Engineer

Build and evolve customer-facing web applications at the center of the MrBeast membership ecosystem. This role is part of an AI-first engineering rebuild and is a zero-to-one effort with no legacy constraints.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable frontend architectures for complex web applications
• Build and maintain reusable UI components and integrate with a design system
• Partner with product managers and designers to deliver clean, high-quality user experiences
• Lead technical design discussions and own architectural decisions within your domain
• Optimize core user journeys (page-load times, frontend latency) and improve performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability
• Set and enforce frontend standards and patterns, driving adoption across teams
• Mentor engineers via code reviews and technical guidance; resolve difficult production issues

Requirements

• AI-native: uses AI coding agents daily; modern tooling is second nature
• Strong frontend depth: typically 8+ years in software engineering with serious frontend experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript; experience maintaining scalable production architectures
• Performance-minded with proven experience in optimization, testing strategy, accessibility, and web standards
• Ownership mindset: takes problems from design through production support and raises team standards

Bonus / Nice to Have

• Built and maintained design systems
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Cloud-native experience and CI/CD familiarity
• Track record leading technical initiatives across teams

Location / Work Model

• Hybrid: expected 2 days per week in-office in the Bay Area (San Francisco / Peninsula) or NYC
