Senior Frontend Engineer

Role overview

Senior Frontend Engineer to help build and scale Lucra’s web application platform. You’ll own frontend experiences that allow partner brands to embed real-money competitions, challenges, and rewards into their own products.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain headless SDKs, component-based SDKs, and fully hosted tenant web applications.
• Extend cross-frame communication using postMessage between embedded iframes, partner apps, and the native host environment.
• Develop and ship features across the web platform and internal admin console.
• Evolve a GraphQL API actively migrating to REST by updating data fetching patterns, typed client code, and code generation tooling.
• Raise engineering quality and improve frontend testing and architecture as the team scales.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to deliver features from planning through production.

Requirements

• Strong React + TypeScript skills (TypeScript strict).
• Experience building complex frontend systems including embedded/iframe integrations.
• Hands-on frontend engineering with ownership from concept to production.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL (and/or GraphQL-to-REST migration).
• Familiarity with modern tooling and routing/data/form libraries such as TanStack Router, Query, and form tooling.

Compensation & logistics

• Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year.
• Remote role (location listed as Austin, TX).
